Mason's story:

Mason was owner surrendered to Chesapeake Animal Services because his family said they could no longer afford to care for him.

Mason just turned 4 years old (born 5-13-10), is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. Animal control said that he had previously lived with a Miniature Pinscher, but we feel that he would be best in a home without dogs, cats, or kids. He weighed in at 122 lbs, and we are working on getting him back to a healthy weight. Even when he is in shape, he will be a big boy!
